[Blood vessels and nerves of the nasal cavity]
The nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are supplied by branches of the external carotid artery and the internal carotid artery. The external carotid artery supplies 90% of the blood flow, is distributed to the lower 2/3 of the nasal cavity, and is composed of the maxillary artery and facial artery. The internal carotid artery supplies the upper 1/3 of the nasal cavity, and is supplied by the ophthalmic artery and then the ethmoid artery.
