Kayazu Shrine

...Thus, the proverb "Yabu ni kou no mono" (a grove of incense) was born, and this area came to be considered the birthplace of incense. In fact, Kayatsu Shrine in this area is considered the god of pickles. The Owari Famous Places Illustrated Guide also states that "Yabu ni kou no mono" (a grove of incense) is an old phrase that appears in the Jikkunsho (a collection of ten teachings) and other sources.
