Kanaoka-so

...Taking advantage of the conflict between the Mori and Oda forces, Naoie destroyed the Mimura clan of Bitchu and gained control of Bizen and the surrounding areas (eastern Bitchu, southern Mimasaka, and western Harima) and became independent as a Sengoku daimyo. However, he soon died of illness and his son Hideie was taken in by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and later became one of the Five Elders under the Toyotomi government.
[Society and Economy]
Bizen is blessed with fertile plains bordered by two major rivers, the Yoshii River and the Asahi River, and many famous large manors were established there, including Toyohara Manor, Kanaoka Manor, Fukuoka Manor, Shikada Manor, Noda Manor, and Kagato Manor. Toyohara Manor was an imperial estate that extended over six areas of Oku County, and was home to Ani Shrine, Koboji Temple, Rengeji Temple, and other temples.
