Japanese: 交野 - かたの

[1] A plateau near Hirakata and Katano in Osaka Prefecture. Since the Heian period, it was a hunting ground for the imperial family. Katano. Utamakura. *Tales of Ise (early 10th century) 82 "The house on the shore where the one who is now hunting is, and the cherry blossoms at the temple are particularly beautiful." [2] A place name in the northeastern part of Osaka Prefecture. It is located at the northern foot of the Ikoma mountain range, and the southern part of the city area belongs to Kongo- Ikoma Quasi-National Park. There is Shishikutsuji Temple. It was incorporated as a city in 1971. [3] A county in the northeastern part of Osaka Prefecture. It was originally part of Manda County, and was divided into Katano County during the Taiho era ( 701-704 ). In 1896 , it was merged with Sasara and Ibaraki County to become Kitakawachi County.

[一] 大阪府枚方・交野市付近の台地。平安以降、皇室の狩猟地であった。片野。歌枕。※伊勢物語（１０Ｃ前）八二「いま狩するかたのの渚の家、その院の桜ことにおもしろし」[二] 大阪府北東部の地名。生駒山地の北麓にあたり、市域南部は金剛生駒国定公園に属する。獅子窟寺がある。昭和四六年（一九七一）市制。[三] 大阪府の北東部にあった郡。もと茨田(まんだ)郡に属し、大宝年間（七〇一‐七〇四）に分割されて交野郡となった。明治二九年（一八九六）讚良(ささら)・茨田の両郡と合併して北河内郡となる。
