Woolly Nylon
〘Noun〙 (woolly nylon) Nylon thread that has been given a curl, giving it the volume, elasticity, heat retention, and water absorption properties of wool. Used for underwear, socks, clothing, etc. ※Invitation to the Mountains (1957) by Hatsuko Kuroda, 1 "For socks, wear strong, patched materials such as cotton, woolly nylon, silk, or wool."
