The expansion of the scale of production along with the cycle of the economy. For society to survive, consumer goods are necessary, and the means of production to produce them must be produced continuously. Repetitive and continuous production is called reproduction, and when the scale of reproduction is the same, it is called simple reproduction. K. Marx considered the basic conditions in the process of expanded reproduction using the reproduction diagram along with the conditions for simple reproduction based on F. Quesnay's economic tables. According to Marx, if all the surplus value gained by reproduction is spent on the personal consumption of capitalists, reproduction on the same scale will simply be repeated, but if part of the surplus value is used for capital accumulation, expanded reproduction will occur.
