Kaihoji Temple Pagoda

…He was from eastern Zhejiang and served as the capital master of Hangzhou. He was in charge of the design of the Kaibao Temple Pagoda in Kaifeng. Construction began in 981 (the 6th year of the Taiping Xing Dynasty), and it took eight years to complete in 989 (the 2nd year of the Duangong Dynasty).
