Five Adults - Otonagonin

...the organizational structure of the Toyotomi government. In the draft of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's will, they are referred to as the "Five Adults," and in the copy of the petition dated September 1598 (Keicho 3), they are referred to as the "Ten People," including the five magistrates. This was the highest administrative body in the Toyotomi government, and was made up of Tokugawa Ieyasu, Maeda Toshiie, Mori Terumoto, Ukita Hideie, and Uesugi Kagekatsu, with Ieyasu and Toshiie as the heads.
