Oginoyamanakahan

During the Edo period, this was a branch of the Odawara Domain, located in Nakaogi-no, Aiko-gun, Sagami Province (Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture). It was a Fudai domain. In 1706 (Hoei 3), Norihiro, the second son of Okubo Tadatomo, the lord of the Odawara Domain, was appointed as a young elder of the Nishinomaru, was given 11,000 koku in Suruga Province, and established a jin'ya in Matsunaga, Sunto County (Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture). In 1718 (Kyoho 3), he was given an additional 5,000 koku in Aiko-gun, Osumi-gun, and Koza-gun in Sagami Province, and established a branch jin'ya in Nakaogi-no. In 1784 (Tenmei 4), during the reign of the fifth lord, Noriyoshi, the Nakaogi-no jin'ya was expanded and remodeled and moved there, and the domain was subsequently called the Ogino Yamanaka Domain. The attack on the camp by ronin from the Satsuma domain in December 1867 (Keio 3) is well known.

江戸時代、相模(さがみ)国愛甲(あいこう)郡中荻野(なかおぎの)（神奈川県厚木市）に置かれた小田原藩の支藩。譜代(ふだい)。1706年（宝永3）小田原藩主大久保忠朝(ただとも)二男教寛(のりひろ)が西の丸若年寄に就任、駿河(するが)国で1万1000石を与えられ、駿東(すんとう)郡松永（静岡県沼津市）に陣屋を設立。1718年（享保3）相模国愛甲郡、大住(おおすみ)郡、高座(こうざ)郡で5000石を加増、中荻野に出張陣屋を置いた。1784年（天明4）5代教翅(のりよし)のとき中荻野陣屋を拡張改築して移り、以後、荻野山中藩と称した。1867年（慶応3）12月薩摩(さつま)藩浪士による同陣屋襲撃事件はよく知られている。
