MRU - M.R.U.

…Due to the civil war since 1991, agricultural and mining production has declined. The country is a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), which was formed in 1975 by West African countries, and is also a member of the Mano River Union (MRU), which was formed in 1973 by Liberia and Sierra Leone and joined in 1980 by Guinea, which promotes regional economic cooperation.
