"Eho Taikouki"

Other frequently performed plays include the sixth act, Myoshinji, and the seventh act, Sugi no Mori. In Kabuki, the play was first performed as Keiho Taikoki at the Nakayama Tokujiro Theater (Kaku no Shibai) in Osaka in November 1800 (Kansei 12). Taiju became a particularly popular kyogen play, and excellent forms were passed down for each role.
