Ezo Joruri - Ezo Joruri

Japanese: 蝦夷浄瑠璃 - えぞじょうるり
Ezo Joruri - Ezo Joruri

...The story is a mystical one that skillfully combines certain known vocabulary. In the Edo period, it was called "Ezo Joruri" and was told over many nights, but this lengthy "human yukar" has undergone many transformations, and there are now only a few people who still preserve the original form.
[What is being said]
In Karafuto, upaskuma refers to a tale, but in Hokkaido it refers to words or tales that explain knowledge about the origins or origins of things, such as those based on the teachings of ancestors or the legends surrounding place names, and is distinguished from other "things that are told."

From [Yukara]

...Some researchers call it heroic poetry because it always wins. In the Edo period, it was called Ezo Joruri. Since its research and introduction by Kyosuke Kindaichi, the word yukar has come to refer to this "human yukar," but in the Ainu language it is generally called sakorpe, yayerap, haw, etc.
