A Forrestal-class conventional aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. Commissioned in 1959. From 1985, it underwent a three-year modernization project, and in 1991 it was homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, replacing the aircraft carrier Midway. It was decommissioned in 1998. The height from the bottom of the ship to the top of the mast is equivalent to a 25-story building, there are 2,300 telephones on board, the fuel consumption at full speed is 570,000 liters per day, the weight of one anchor is 30 tons, the weight of one rudders is 45 tons, and the onboard power generation is equivalent to that of a city with a population of 40,000. The main specifications are a full load displacement of 80,643 tons, an overall length of 326.6 m, a maximum speed of 33 kn, three Sea Sparrow (→ Sparrow) 8-barrel launchers, and three 20 mm Vulcan Phalanx cannons. The aircraft carried are Grumman F-14 Tomcat (20 aircraft), Boeing F/A-18 Hornet (20 aircraft), Grumman A-6 Intruder (20 aircraft), Grumman EA-6B Prowler (4 aircraft), Lockheed S-3 Viking (10 aircraft), Grumman E-2 Hawkeye (4 aircraft), and Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King or Sikorsky SH-60F Ocean Hawk (6 aircraft).

A city in western Missouri, United States. It is located about 10 km east of Kansas City and about 5 km south of the Missouri River. It was first settled in 1827. It is close to the western end of the Missouri River transportation route, and until the 1940s it was the starting point for people going to Santa Fe, California, and Oregon, and later it became a meeting point for wagon trains. It has developed remarkably as a suburban residential city of Kansas City, and its population nearly doubled in the decade from 1960 to 1970. It is the hometown of former President HS Truman, and the Truman Library is located in his honor. It was also a base for Mormons for a time in the 19th century. Population: 116,830 (2010).
