…The oracle bones of Zhouyuan were discovered under the floor of a building thought to be the remains of the Zhou dynasty's ancestral temple. There are about 300 pieces with characters, dating from the end of the Yin dynasty to the first half of the Western Zhou dynasty, and some of them suggest a relationship between the Yin dynasty and the Zhou people before the Keyin dynasty. The best general book on the oracle bones of the Yin Ruins is currently Chen Mengjia's "Comprehensive Study of the Yin Xu Divine Literature." There is also Sun Haibo's "Comprehensive Book of Oracle Bone Inscriptions" as a dictionary of characters. …
