...It is distributed from the Himalayas to China, and a similar species is found in Taiwan. It is easily distinguished from the similar species L. salicifolia Makino, which is more warm-climate and lowland, has sharper-angled sporangia, a pale green leaf stalk, and pale brown scales at the base. The genus Loxogramme has about 40 species distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions of the Old World, with only one species found isolated in Mexico and tropical America.
