A district in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture. Formerly Imawatari Town. Located in the northern part of the city, on a terrace on the left bank of the Kiso River, it was once a river crossing to Ota-juku (Minokamo City) on the Nakasendo Road. Ota Bridge connecting Ota and Imawatari was completed in 1927 (Showa 2). The Nagoya Railroad Hiromi Line, National Route 21, and National Route 248 pass through here.
