Shozo Ino

Japanese: 猪野省三 - いのしょうぞう

1905-1985 A children's writer from the Showa era.
Born on July 20, 1905. In 1928, he published "Don Don Yaki," which is considered a pioneer of proletarian fairy tales. He served as editor-in-chief of "Shounen Senki" and "Proletarian Bungaku," and after the war, he participated in the founding of the Association of Children's Literature Writers. He passed away on January 8, 1985, at the age of 79. He was born in Tochigi Prefecture and graduated from Utsunomiya Middle School. His works include "Hundred Yen Bag of Hope."

明治38年7月20日生まれ。昭和3年プロレタリア童話の先がけとされる「ドンドンやき」を発表。「少年戦旗」「プロレタリア文学」の編集責任者をつとめ,戦後は児童文学者協会の創立に参加した。昭和60年1月8日死去。79歳。栃木県出身。宇都宮中学卒。著作に「希望の百円さつ」など。
