Born on December 11, 1666. The third son of Koide Fusatomo, lord of Tanba Sonobe Domain (Kyoto Prefecture). Adopted by Itakura Shigenobu. In 1680, he became the second head of the Itakura family, lord of Takataki Domain in Kazusa (Chiba Prefecture). In 1609, he became the first head of the Itakura family, lord of Niwase Domain in Bitchu (Okayama Prefecture). 20,000 koku. Died on February 10, 1712. Age 48.
