Ikeshinden

This is an area of ​​Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In 2004, Omaezaki Town and Hamaoka Town merged to form Ikeshinden, Omaezaki City. It was the central area of ​​the former Hamaoka Town. In the early modern period, Niinoike Pond in the lagoon was reclaimed, and Niinoikeshinden was created, later abbreviated to Ikeshinden. National Route 150 runs through the area, and Omaezaki City Hall and Ikeshinden Industrial Park are located here.

静岡県御前崎市(おまえざきし)の一地区。2004年（平成16）御前崎町と浜岡町の合併により、御前崎市池新田となる。旧浜岡町の中心地区であった。近世初頭に潟湖(せきこ)の新野池(にいのいけ)を干拓、新野池新田を造成、のち池新田と略称した。国道150号が通じ、御前崎市役所、池新田工業団地などがある。
