This is an area of Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In 2004, Omaezaki Town and Hamaoka Town merged to form Ikeshinden, Omaezaki City. It was the central area of the former Hamaoka Town. In the early modern period, Niinoike Pond in the lagoon was reclaimed, and Niinoikeshinden was created, later abbreviated to Ikeshinden. National Route 150 runs through the area, and Omaezaki City Hall and Ikeshinden Industrial Park are located here.
