Amplifier

Japanese:
Amplifier
A device with a circuit that amplifies minute electrical signals. An abbreviation of amplifier. Also known as amplifier. Vacuum tubes and transistors were used and were often connected to audio equipment, but most modern electronic devices such as televisions and videos use amplifiers that use ICs. There are also magnetic amplifiers that use the magnetic saturation phenomenon. It is desirable for the output signal to have little distortion and little change with frequency, and amplifiers with negative feedback have these characteristics. For microwaves, traveling wave tubes and klystrons are used.
