...The Morales administration partially nationalized the railroads, enacted labor laws, and prepared for land reform, and broke off diplomatic relations with Cuba in 1961. The administration was overthrown in a military coup in 1963, and General Osvaldo López Arellano became president in 1965. In 1969, Honduras went to war with El Salvador, triggered by the refugee problem (the so-called Soccer War).
