"The Story of a Soul" - The Story of a Reiko

...The autobiography of the French mystic Thérèse de Lisieux. The official title is Histoire d'une âme (Story of a Soul). The book is divided into three parts: Part 1 (chapters 1-8), written in 1895 by Sister Thérèse at the request of her sister, Polina, the abbess, about her childhood memories; Part 2 (chapters 9-10), written in 1897 to Sister Maria, the abbess of Gonzague, about her religious life and inner struggles; Part 3 (chapter 11), in which Thérèse explains the secret of her unique religious life, which became known as the "Little Way" for her eldest sister Maria; and Part 4 (chapter 12), which contains an additional chapter that describes Thérèse's life at the convent, her words and actions, and the circumstances of her final moments, based on the testimony of witnesses.
