Argentine tango (English spelling)

Tango created by Argentine and Uruguayan composers. This name is used to distinguish it from continental tango, which was introduced to Europe. Songs such as "El Choclo," "Caminito," and "La Cumparsita" belong to this category. In its native country, it is usually performed crisply by an orquesta típica (meaning a typical orchestra) that mainly consists of bandoneon, piano, violin, and double bass.
