Thick plank roofing - Atsuita Danbuki

...Kozokubuki is a type of roofing that uses boards that are halfway between persimmon and tsutsumi, but the boundaries between persimmon, tsutsumi, and tsutsumi are unclear. There are various types of long board roofing, such as nagashiitabuki, where thin boards are laid to match the sagging of the roof surface, thick board tiered roofing, where thick boards are laid in two or three layers at different slopes, and meitabuki, where boards are hammered into the joints between the boards, and they are called different names depending on the region. Long board roofing is often seen on small shrine main halls.
