...The Quraysh, a settled tribe, had a chief for the entire tribe at the time of their conquest of Mecca and settlement, but after that they no longer had a chief, and each clan had its own family head (or in the case of the Quraysh, specifically called a family head) and a majlis, and when decisions of important importance to the entire tribe were to be made, a meeting of the leading members of each clan, called a malah, was held.

The word "Arab" itself does not appear in the Quran, but the word "arabi" appears, which is a common language used by North and South Arabs, settlers and nomads, in contrast to the foreign word "ajamī," and Muhammad became the first person to express the idea of ​​the Arabs as a single people, using language as a medium.
