…It is also known as the Regimental Flag Jellyfish because there are usually 16 thick reddish-brown lines on the surface of the cap, the Hakuon Jellyfish because the nematocysts of the tentacles dry and enter the nose, irritating the mucous membrane and causing sneezing, and the Asinaga Jellyfish because of its four long oral arms. In the Seto Inland Sea, it is called Akanko and used as fishing bait. It is distributed from Honshu to Taiwan, and is commonly seen from spring to summer. …
