[Endoscope structure]
Different instruments are used depending on the area to be examined. To view the insides of the nose, ears, throat, anus, and vagina, which are close to the surface of the body, the nosal speculum, ear speculum, laryngoscope, anoscope, and specula are used, respectively. These are small mirrors with a tube, spatula, or handle to widen the insides of the cavities.
