Legs and hands - Ashinazuchitenazuchi

Japanese: 脚摩乳・手摩乳 - あしなずちてなずち
Legs and hands - Ashinazuchitenazuchi
A husband and wife deity who appear in the story of Susanoo-no-Mikoto's slaying of the giant snake in the mythology of the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. They are said to be the children of Oyamatsumi-no-Kami. They were the parents of Kushinada-hime, who was about to be sacrificed to the giant snake. They were probably named to show their affection for the girl's limbs. Kushinada-hime, who was left alone after her eight daughters were eaten by the snake every year, was saved by the power of Susanoo. When Susanoo married Kushinada-hime, he gave the two deities the name Inada-no-Miyanushi-Suga-no-Yatsumimi-no-Kami.
