Among temperate climates, this is a relatively humid climate without a dry season. It is also called a humid temperate climate. In the Köppen climate classification, the Cf climate is further divided into a humid subtropical climate (Cfa) with an average monthly temperature of 22°C or higher in the warmest month, and a west coast marine climate (Cfb) with an average monthly temperature of less than 22°C. The Cfa climate is found in most of Japan, the eastern United States, eastern Australia, and the mouth of the Rio de la Plata River in South America, and has a large annual temperature range. The Cfb climate is found in Western Europe, the Pacific coast of Canada, New Zealand, and parts of Chile. It has a mild climate with moderate rainfall all year round, and is productive and has a large population. It is the cultural and economic center of the world, along with the subarctic region that follows this region.
