Néstos (English spelling)

…the river that flows southeast through the Balkan Peninsula. In Greek, it is called the Nestos. It originates in the Rila Mountains in the Rhodope Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, and flows southward between the Pirin and Rhodope Mountains, parallel to the Struma River.
