Papio papio (English spelling) Papiopapio

...General term for baboons that live in the arid zone of Africa. Refers to four species: the Guinea baboon (Papio papio ), the Doguera baboon (P. anubis) , the yellow baboon (P. cynocephalus) , and the chacma baboon (P. ursinus ). There is also a theory that the Savanna baboon is one species, Papio cynocephalus , and the above four species are its subspecies.
