Japanese: 小俣[町] - おばた

An old town in Watarai County, located in the Ise Plain in the central-eastern part of Mie Prefecture. The main settlement once flourished as a ferry crossing over the Miyagawa River on the Sangu Highway, and the Sangu Line runs through it. There are textile factories of various sizes, and the town also produces rice, vegetables, melons, and other produce. It is the home of Ise Takuan (pickled radish). In January 2006, it was incorporated into Ise City along with Futami Town and Misono Village in Watarai County. ^{11.56 km2} . Population: 18,557 (2003).

三重県中東部，伊勢平野にある度会(わたらい)郡の旧町。主集落はかつて参宮街道宮川の渡し場として栄え，参宮線が通じる。大小の繊維工場があり，米，野菜，メロンなども産する。伊勢たくあんの本場。2006年１月度会郡二見町，御薗村と伊勢市へ編入。11.56km²。１万8557人（2003）。
