Alfure

...The name that Indonesians generally use to refer to the non-Muslim people who lived in northern Sulawesi, the Maluku Islands, Halmahera, Mindanao and the surrounding islands, without any connection to the concept of ethnicity. Alfur means "people of the forest." It is also written as Alfure, Alfuro, Alfoer, Alfourou, etc. There is a considerable description of the Alfur people in JG Fraser's The Golden Bough.
