SR Party - SR Party

A revolutionary party in Russia in the 20th century. Its official name was Partiya Sotsialistov-Revolyutsionerov. In the late 1890s, people who sought to revive the traditions of the revolutionary Narodnik movement in the new circumstances began calling themselves "Socialists-Revolutionaries," or SRs. Among them, the SR Alliance led by Andrei Aleksandrovich Argunov (1866-1939), who aimed to restore the power of terror, and the early SR Party, which did not reject peasant maneuvers and aimed to unite organizations, decided to merge in December 1901 through discussions held abroad by Gershuny, Mariya Frolovna Selyuk (1872-?), Azev, and others, and exiles joined them to form the party.

20世紀ロシアの革命政党。正称はPartiya Sotsialistov‐Revolyutsionerov。1890年代の末，革命的ナロードニキ運動の伝統を新状況の中で再生させようとする人々が〈社会主義者･革命家〉，略称エス･エル(SR)と名のりはじめた。その中でテロルの復権をめざすアルグノフAndrei Aleksandrovich Argunov(1866‐1939)らのエス･エル同盟と，農民工作も否定せず，組織の結集をめざしていた初期エス･エル党とが1901年12月国外でのゲルシューニ，セリュークMariya Frolovna Selyuk(1872‐？)，アゼフらの協議により合同を決め，これに亡命者たちが加わり，党が生まれた。
