Yuzuki-kun - Yuzuki-kun

Japanese:
Yuzuki-kun - Yuzuki-kun
A legendary figure who is said to be the leader of a group of people who came from ancient Korea. Also known as King Yuzutsu. According to the Nihon Shoki, in the 14th year of Emperor Ojin's reign, Yuzuki no Kimi came from Baekje and reported that the people of 120 prefectures he led were staying in Gaya due to the interference of the Silla people, so Katsuragi Osutsuhiko was sent to Gaya. In the 16th year of the same reign, Heguri no Sukune and Matotoda no Sukune were sent to Gaya to bring the people together with Osutsuhiko. The Ojinki of the Kojiki only states that the ancestors of the Hatano no Tsukuri and Kancho came to Gaya. In the early 9th century Kogo Shūi and Shinsen Shojiroku, they are said to be the ancestors of the Hata clan, and in the report of Hata no Nagahara and others in the 7th year of the Gangei era (944) entry of the Nihon Sandai Jitsuroku, the clan is said to be a descendant of King Yuzutsu, a descendant of the First Emperor of Qin, and their genealogical consciousness is expressed. On the other hand, there is a different theory that these articles were originally based on the legend that Yuzuki no Kimi was the ancestor of the Hata clan, which was related to the Katsuragi clan, but later changed to the ancestor of the Hata clan. The Hata clan is considered to have been a group based around Hata (Uljin City, Korea) that moved to southern Gaya between the end of the 5th century and the beginning of the 6th century, and then migrated from there and took the name of their hometown. <References> Hirano Kunio, "Research on Social Organization in the Pre-Taika Period"
