Manned satellite

Also known as a manned satellite. An artificial satellite that humans can ride on. Can be recovered from the ground. The former Soviet Union's Vostok 1 (1961) was the world's first manned satellite. The United States was the first to launch a manned ballistic flight (human rocket) and manned satellite (Mercury 6, 1962) in Project Mercury. 人間衛星とも。人間が乗ることのできる人工衛星。地上回収可能。旧ソ連のボストーク１号（1961年）が世界最初。米国ではマーキュリー計画における有人弾道飛行（人間ロケット）と有人衛星打上げ（マーキュリー６号。1962年）が最初。その後，中国は2003年10月に有人宇宙船〈神舟５号〉の打上げに成功した。
