Boisin Brothers - Boisin Siblings

Japanese: ボアザン兄弟 - ボアザンきょうだい

French aviation pioneer. The elder brother was Gabriel Voisin (1880-1973), and the younger brother was Charles Voisin (1882-1912). Both brothers were born in Neuville-sur-Saône. In 1905, they established the world's first airplane factory in Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, and built airplanes to their own designs or in collaboration with customers. This was just two years after the Wright brothers' first flight. The brothers' aircraft were biplanes with propulsion and a canard (with elevators) and a tail (with rudder), but no ailerons.

フランスの航空先駆者。兄はガブリエルGabriel Voisin(1880‐1973)，弟はシャルルCharles Voisin(1882‐1912)。兄弟ともヌービル･シュル･ソーヌの生れ。1905年にパリ郊外のビヤンクールに世界最初の飛行機工場を建てて，彼らの設計あるいは注文主と協同設計で飛行機を製作した。これはライト兄弟初飛行のわずか2年足らず後である。兄弟の機体は複葉推進式で，前翼(昇降舵)と尾翼(方向舵つき)をもっていたが，補助翼はなかった。
