The last Holy Roman Emperor (reigned 1792-1806). Son of Leopold II. After being defeated by Napoleon I, the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved in 1806. After 1804, he called himself Emperor of Austria (Franz I). After 1813, he joined the anti-French coalition.
