Franz [II] - Franz
The last Holy Roman Emperor (reigned 1792-1806). Son of Leopold II. After being defeated by Napoleon I, the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved in 1806. After 1804, he called himself Emperor of Austria (Franz I). After 1813, he joined the anti-French coalition. He handed over the reign to Metternich, presided over the Congress of Vienna, and established the Holy Alliance, implementing reactionary policies.

最後の神聖ローマ皇帝（在位1792年―1806年）。レオポルト２世の子。ナポレオン１世に敗れて1806年神聖ローマ帝国は解体した。1804年以後はオーストリア皇帝（フランツ１世）と称した。1813年以後対仏大同盟に参加。メッテルニヒに執政をゆだねてウィーン会議を主宰，神聖同盟を結んで反動的政策を行った。
