A town in Niwa District, northwest of Aichi Prefecture. It is located on the Inuyama alluvial fan on the left bank of the Kiso River. Silkworm farming was once popular here, but now vegetables such as Moriguchi radishes and burdock are cultivated. It is being developed into a residential area. 愛知県北西部，丹羽(にわ)郡の町。木曾川左岸の犬山扇状地にある。かつて養蚕が盛んであったが，現在は守口ダイコン，ゴボウなど野菜が栽培される。住宅地化が進む。名鉄犬山線が通じる。11.19km2。３万3558人（2010）。
