A town in Niwa District, northwest of Aichi Prefecture. It is located on the Inuyama alluvial fan on the left bank of the Kiso River. Silkworm farming was once popular here, but now vegetables such as Moriguchi radishes and burdock are cultivated. It is being developed into a residential area.
