This is the major work of American political scientist FL Neumann. Published in 1942. Neumann was a former legal advisor to the German Social Democratic Party. In 1933, he fled to England to escape Nazi oppression, and in 1936 he traveled to the United States and completed this book. It is said that the manuscript was already completed before the outbreak of the German-Soviet war. It is a classic work as it is the first systematic analysis of Nazism based solely on original sources. It compares Nazism to the "Behemoth," a monster of chaos in Jewish eschatology, and structurally elucidates the development of the Nazi regime toward organized anarchy, that is, the process by which the party absorbed the state and the military and became colluded with monopoly capital. It remains essential reading for Nazi studies.
