Tomonosho - Tomonosho

Japanese: 伴野荘 - ともののしょう
Tomonosho - Tomonosho
A manor centered on Nozawa in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture, with villages scattered throughout Minamisaku County in the same prefecture. It was established as the estate of Emperor Goshirakawa in the late 12th century, and after passing through Emperor Gotoba, it became the estate of Emperor Muromachi in 1302, and was then passed down to the Jimyoin line. The lord was Fujiwara no Motoie, and the land steward was the Ogasawara clan (Bonno clan). With the fall of the Bonno clan in the late Kamakura period, the land steward position was passed on to the Hojo clan. In 1330, the lord's position was donated to Daitoku-ji Temple, and with the fall of the Kamakura Shogunate, the land steward position was also donated to Daitoku-ji Temple by Emperor Go-Daigo. According to the tax order of 1335, there were 24 villages, and the tax to Daitoku-ji Temple was about 7,600 kanmon. In the winter of 1279, Ippen visited Bonno City in this area. There was also a manor with the same name in the southern part of the Ina Valley, in the area centered around Tomono, Toyooka village, Nagano prefecture today.
