Japanese: 代理受領 - だいりじゅりょう

A method of securing credit that is customarily used in financial practice. When A (creditor) lends money to B (debtor), A (creditor) obtains a power of attorney from B to collect credit against C (third debtor) in order to secure the credit, and the money collected based on this can be used directly to repay the credit against B. This method was particularly popular in the postwar financial difficulties as an alternative method of security for small and medium-sized enterprises that were prohibited from transferring or pledging credits acquired through construction contracts and delivery of goods to public agencies.

金融実務において慣行的に行われている債権担保の方法。A(債権者)がB(債務者)に融資するにあたり，その債権を担保する目的で，BのC(第三債務者)に対する債権についてBから取立委任を受けて代理権を取得しておくもので，それに基づいて取り立てて受領した金銭を直接Bに対する債権の弁済に充当できる。これはとくに，戦後の金融難を背景として，中小企業が官公庁に対する工事請負，物品納入により取得する代金債権につき，譲渡，質入れが禁止されていることに代わる担保方法として盛んに行われた。
