A Chinese revolutionary in the late Qing Dynasty. Born in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. He studied in Japan in 1902 and returned to China in 1904. He joined the Patriotic Studies Society, which Zhang Binglin and others established in Shanghai, and published the revolutionary propaganda book "The Revolutionary Army" in the same year. Based on the theory of natural human rights, he strongly advocated the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty's foreign rule and autocratic government, and the construction of a republic by the Chinese people. As a result, he violated the Qing Dynasty's taboo, and was arrested along with Zhang Binglin, who introduced "The Revolutionary Army" in the newspaper "Su Pao." He died in prison while serving a two-year sentence.

中国，清末の革命家。四川省重慶の人。光緒 28 (1902) 年日本に留学，同 29年帰国。章炳麟らが上海で設立した「愛国学社」に入り，同年革命宣伝の書『革命軍』を出版。天賦人権説に基づき，清朝の異民族支配と専制政治を打倒して，中国人による共和国家建設を強く訴えた。このため清朝の忌諱に触れ，『革命軍』を『蘇報』紙上で紹介した章炳麟とともに逮捕され，禁錮2年の刑に服役中，獄死した。
