God's food - Jinkonjiki
〘Noun〙 (also "jingonjiki") A Shinto ritual held within the Imperial Court. On the night of the monthly festival on the eleventh of the sixth and twelfth lunar months, a ritual in which Amaterasu Omikami is invited to the Shinkaden, the fire is lit , newly cooked rice is offered, and the emperor himself worships and eats it. It is similar to the Niiname Festival, but whereas the Niiname Festival uses new grains, this one uses old grains. Kamiage. Kanimake . Jinkojiki. Jinkonke. Kan-imake [God's food now]

かん‐いまけ【神今食】

〘名〙 (「かむいまけ」と表記) =かみあげ(神今食)《季・夏》※随筆・玉勝間(1795‐1812)六「神今食は、じんごんじきと、字音にのみ唱へ来りて、正しくはいかに唱ふべきにか、昔よりさだもなく、しれる人なし。〈略〉つらつら此名を考ふるに、加牟伊麻気(カムイマケ)と唱ふべき也」[補注]かみゆまけ(神斎食)の転〔大言海〕ともいう。

かみあげ【神今食】

〘名〙 宮中儀式の一つ。中古、六月と一二月の一一日の夜、宮中の神嘉殿において、天照大神をまつり、新しい火で炊いた御飯を供え、天皇自身も食する。新嘗祭とほぼ同じだが、この祭りでは旧米を用いる。かんいまけ。じんこんじき。〔観智院本名義抄(1241)〕
