〘名〙 (「じんごんじき」とも) 禁中の神事。陰暦六月と一二月の一一日、月次祭(つきなみまつり)の夜、天照大神を神嘉殿に勧請(かんじょう)して、火を改め、新しく炊いた御飯を供え、天皇みずからこれをまつり、自身も食する儀式。新嘗祭(にいなめまつり)に似ているが、新嘗祭は新穀を用いるのに対し、これは旧穀を用いる。かみあげ。かんいまけ。じんこじき。じんこんけ。《季・夏／冬》※続日本紀‐延暦九年（790）六月戊申「於_二神祇官曹司_一、行_二神今食之事_一」
