Shunputei Ryushi

Japanese: 春風亭柳枝 - しゅんぷうていりゅうし

A stage name of a Rakugo performer. (1) The first (?-1868 (Meiji 1)) A disciple of the first Reitatei Yanagibashi. Known as a master of human interest stories such as "Kyushu Fukimodoshi." He was the teacher of the first Danshurou Enshi. (2) The second (1821-1874, Bunsei 4-Meiji 7) A disciple of the first. (3) The third (1852-1900, Kaei 5-Meiji 33) Real name Suzuki Bunkichi. A disciple of the first Danshurou Enshi. Known as the "Great Master of Kuramae," he played an important role as the head of the Yanagi school. (4) The fourth (1868-1927, Meiji 1-Showa 2) Real name Iimori Wahei.
