Local medicine compilation - Kyoyaku shuseiho

Japanese: 郷薬集成方 - きょうやくしゅうせいほう

A medical book from the early Joseon Dynasty of Korea. 85 volumes. Compiled by Yu Hotong, Roh Jungrye, Park Yundeok and others based on the Hyangyao Jiseongbang (1398), a compilation of traditional Korean medical books, and with extensive reference to Chinese medical books, it was completed in 1433. It describes various illnesses, methods of manufacturing medicines, acupuncture and moxibustion, herbal medicines and how to manufacture them. A Hangeul version was published in 1488, and it influenced later works such as the Donguibogam (early 17th century). [Miyajima Hiroshi]

朝鮮，李朝初期の医書。85巻。兪好通，盧重礼，朴允徳らが，旧来の朝鮮医書を集大成した《郷薬済生集成方》(1398)を土台として，中国医書をも広く参照しつつ編纂し，1433年に完成した。各種の疾病，薬の製造法，鍼灸法，郷薬本草とその炮製法などが記載されている。88年にはハングル版も刊行され，のちの《東医宝鑑》(17世紀初)などにも影響を与えた。【宮嶋博史】
