Coagulation value
The minimum concentration of an added substance that will cause a colloidal solution to coagulate within a certain amount of time is called the coagulation value of that substance for that colloidal solution. It is also called the coagulation value*. The Schulze-Hardy law* applies to the coagulation value of hydrophobic colloids.
