...To the north from Okuhotakadake, you pass through the saddle of Shiradashi, where the Hotakadake Mountain Lodge is located, and then continue to Karasawadake (3110m) and Kitahotakadake (3106m), then cross the saddle of the Okirito to reach Minamidake of the Yari-ga-take mountain range. To the south, you pass rocky peaks such as Gendarme and Roba no Mimi, and then, decreasing in altitude, you reach Nishihotakadake (2909m), Nishiho Mountain Lodge, and finally Yakedake.
