There are various types of unemployment, such as involuntary unemployment, voluntary unemployment, and frictional unemployment, but in addition to complete unemployment, there is also underemployment, which is called disguised unemployment or latent unemployment. The definition of unemployment itself is relatively clear, but various problems arise when trying to grasp the actual situation statistically, and subtle differences occur from country to country.
