Glass filter

...There are two methods for separating precipitates: filtration and centrifugation, but filtration is the most common. Filtration can be done using filter paper or glass filters, with the mesh size being selected appropriately depending on the nature of the precipitate. Filter paper includes No. 5A for rapid quantification, No. 5B for general quantification, No. 5C for particulate quantification, No. 6 for standard quantification, and No. 7 for the highest quality quantification. Glass filters include G1, G2, G3, and G4, with G4 having the finest mesh size, 5 to 10 μm.
